ANTI RAGGING COMMITTEE
Aims
The Anti-Ragging Committee aims to:
- Prevent and eliminate any form of ragging in educational institutions.
- Ensure a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for students, particularly new entrants.
- Promote awareness about the harmful effects of ragging and encourage a culture of respect and dignity on campus.

Functions
- Implement UGC Guidelines: Enforce the directives outlined by the University Grants Commission (UGC) to prevent ragging.
- Orientation Programs: Organize orientation and induction sessions for new students to inform them about anti-ragging policies.
- Grievance Redressal: Address complaints of ragging promptly and take appropriate action against offenders.
- Collaboration: Work with student councils, faculty, and staff to foster a ragging-free campus.
- Display Information: Ensure the availability of anti-ragging posters, helpline numbers, and policy documents at prominent locations in the institution.
- Conduct Inquiries: Investigate any reported cases of ragging and recommend disciplinary actions as per institutional policies.
